This new facility will replace the existing garage in New Haven and will have the capacity to support the current operations in the greater New Haven area, as well as service expansion in the future.  The new facility will accommodate the operations maintenance and administrative requirements of about 150 buses and 20 support vehicles.  This facility will also contain a new state-of-the-art Paint Shop for repairing and refinishing buses. The facility will be operated by Connecticut Transit.

The State of CT, Baker & Associates and the General Contractor, Fusco Corporation, chose Managed Air Systems as the designer and equipment supplier for this project.

In this new 340,000 sq.ft. facility Managed Air Systems will be providing (3) paint booths, pneumatic man lifts, a paint kitchen, breathing air compressors, finishing equipment, and (3) vacuum systems with nearly 1,000 ft. of pipe and over 75 HP of drive motors, along with mechanical and electrical installation.
