Managed Air Systems is a Connecticut based limited liability company recognized as the premier supplier of Industrial Finishing and Vehicle Refinishing equipment in the Northeast.

With over two decades of history in the refinishing and finishing markets, the company has extensive experience in paint application processes with clients in, government, aerospace, transit, general industrial finishing and numerous automotive refinishing facilities.

Over the years, Managed Air Systems has conducted business around the country and occasionally internationally.  Whether the need is simply for a piece of process equipment or the need is far greater, consisting of an engineered solution, the company has the resources to meet the demands.  In cooperation with it’s key suppliers, Managed Air Systems has worked to design, engineer, and construct painting facilities in excess of $12 million dollars.

History:

1990 – New England Booth & Equipment is incorporated and breaks away from sister company Norris-Wiener an Industrial Finishing supply company.
1999 – Former New England Booth & Equipment employee breaks away to form Managed Air Systems (MAS).
2000 – MAS makes an asset purchase agreement acquiring New England Booth & Equipment of Billerica, MA. and is appointed distribution rights in New England by manufacturers.
2000 – MAS moves the former MA based business to Bloomfield, CT and begins new operations in 2,300 sq. ft. facility.
2001 – MAS expands operations to 4,600 sq. ft. as the company begins to warhorse and inventory.
2002 – MAS receives appointments from key supplies to expand the territory with distribution rights in NY.
2004 – MAS expands business and takes on international projects and staff grows to exceed 20 full time employees.
2006 – MAS files with the US Patent & Trademark office to register and Trademark the company name and logo.
2006 – MAS staff grows to exceed 25 full time employees and the company acquires a new 2.51 acre parcel and 26,000 sq. ft. facility.
2008 – MAS builds new 7,000 office space for MAS staff within the new facility.
2008 – MAS receives special appointments from major supplier for exclusive distribution in Transit Authority markets.
2009 – MAS receives special appointments for Master Distributorship from major supplier (Titan Air) for exclusive representation of lift equipment in the Northeast.
2010 – MAS celibates a 20th Anniversary
2013 – MAS to acquire ATR Industries and CT based Aerospace Paint Booth supply company.
